Lulu’s Dove House

In partnership with The Line Group, AAP launched a revolutionary monthly dinner series at Sons of Essex and brought Jazz Age New Orleans to the Lower East Side. Entering through a deli (the secret front for Lulu’s operation), guests passed under a red velvet curtain and into a glowing bordello. The sound of a live DJ dolling out Electro Swing provided soundtrack while “soiled doves” roamed, soliciting customers with their menu of forbidden delights. As performances erupted, guests submitted to Lulu’s chamber of temptation.
